Happy New Year!!!

I am so looking forward to the 2010 season!!! Many of you had made great strides in your riding and are moving up a level this year and some of you have new horses that you will develop a new relationship with! GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING!
So, this brings me to the 2010 schedule...My schedule is starting to fill up already...so, look at the show schedule and let me know what clinic dates and judging dates you want...I am looking over the show schedule myself now and picking out some to coach at...( Hopefully ride too if my young horse is going well!)
Think about your goals...if you do not have any or are at a loss please, talk to me and not matter how big or small it is all important!!
I have just returned from a month in FL and completed Don Dorans Equine Sports Massage Training Program. It was absolutely eye opening and I loved every minute of it!
As a trainer it will help me tremendously!
Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and FIRE UP for 2010!!!!

I am looking forward to anatomy, skeletal and the nervous system class'...!!! I will be going to school and Alf will be on the beach??? How did this happen? Anyway, wishing everyone Joy and Happiness this Holiday season and think about your goals for the coming 2010 year with your riding...I will be so excited to come back with new knowledge to share with you!!!
Best wishes,
Laurie H.

Sally Rush on her German riding pony "Grace" at the region #2 Championships, Lamplight , IL

During the weekend of October 2-4, I packed up my 5 year old German Riding Pony “Grace” and went with friends to the United States Dressage Federation Region 2 Championships.. Region 2 covers 8 mid-western states, and there were nearly 500 horses competing in 45 degrees and 4” of rain. It was a big sloppy mess, but we had a great time. At my level there was 51 horses qualified, and 37 competing, and we placed 15th. She can be mischievous and she was very, very good in really bad conditions. Even though we were not in the ribbons, I was really pleased. My friends say I was robbed and should have been in the victory gallop- its always good to have the positive support of friends!
